Miss AMichael Winter has managed to do something no other personal trainer has done before. I’ve never been one to stick with personal training for too long, but I’ve now been training with Michael for many months and I’m still really enjoying every session, and most importantly, I’m seeing the results that I want.
One of the key reasons that I’ve actually stuck with training this time is that Michael has a great training style which he adapts to your personal needs.

Each session is tailored to what I need, but also to what I enjoy – and regular variation in the exercises ensures the training never gets tedious. Michael has worked with me according to the goals that I have for myself – he is always realistic about what can be achieved and is genuinely very supportive and encouraging.

My main focus was on wanting to improve my fitness, and through this, to develop a healthier body. Along with a noticeable difference in my fitness has come an improvement in my overall health, weight loss, and feeling really good within myself. Michael doesn’t just focus on exercise but reinforces that this is just one part of maintaining a healthy lifestyle overall – he helps maintain a focus on healthy eating, but is also realistic that we all need to have a treat from time to time!

In addition to Michael’s style, the success of his training is increased due to his flexibility – he found a training location convenient to me, and his training structure means I can train with a friend...this has really helped maintain some of that motivation! His good sense of humour also doesn’t go astray in making sure we have a good laugh each week!

Michael is a very personable trainer with many levels of cardio and fitness exercises/circuits to cater for your health and fitness requirements.

Michael is very patient and flexible, even when I have been travelling for work overseas the last 6 months he has been very accommodating of that.

Most importantly, Michael pushes you during the 1hr sessions much more than any gym or by yourself. He varies the routines also to include boxing, running (all different levels) and care.

I would recommend Michael to anyone who is thinking about improving their overall fitness no matter what level they are.

I commenced my Training sessions with Alive Personal Training January 2011 this year. I was looking to strengthen my back as it is weak and to lose some weight and increase my energy levels.

I can honestly say since using the services of Alive Personal Training, the strength in my back had improved significantly. I no longer feel the same aches and pains as I used to and I am also losing weight. I already fit into some smaller sized pants and top which is what I had hoped would happen.

Training with Michael is challenging and enjoyable. He provides great variety with his programming and you will never be bored. Hi, I'm a mother of two young children and working part time. I have always made time to exercise, but without achieving any real results. I have been training with Michael up to three times a week for nearly two years as part of his group fitness training sessions. The sessions are always pitched with reference to the varying abilities of the group and have really made the heart rate rise. Our workouts have increased as our fitness has improved so it has stayed challenging! There has been lots

I started working out with Alive 2 months ago. On average I make two (ok sometimes just one!) group sessions a week.
I have seen pretty much instant results- even within a fortnight I realized I had lost weight and had improved in fitness. In just eight weeks I have gone from a dress size 10/12 to a definite 10. And I am pre-baby number 1 weight (I have two little girls age 3 and 1).
I have never done this type of training in my life before- I could barely jog up the street when I started. I was actually terrified this training would involve running when I first started. But in eight weeks I have started jogging comfortably and even enjoying it.
No two sessions are the same, and working out in the outdoors is a pleasure to do (yes even at 6am!).
Michael has made this experience a very positive one. I am very pleased with the results and I am so pleased to have kicked that (lifelong) feeling that exercise is something to dread.

Michael Winter(Alive Personal Training) has been my trainer from the beginning of this year. I have had a few problems with my body and as such have at times been restricted to limited flexibilty. Michael has been sensitive to this and customised an exercise program to suit my individual needs. On a weekly basis my ability to handle certain execises changes and Michael has been able to accommodate this into the plan.
